For over 20 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, adolescents, and families, emergency and family homes, addiction care, supported apartments, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through the four municipal associations.

The HVB operation Sunnerö opened in Alingsås in November 2022.

The facility has 6 places for girls and boys aged 8 to 11 years and caters to individually placed children who need care, treatment, and supplementary investigations. We operate around the clock.

We are now looking for a night treatment assistant for a permanent position at 73.63% with start date as agreed. Introduction will take place during the day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What does it mean to be a treatment assistant at Sunnerö?

During the night, the focus is on maintaining stability, safety, and security. Your tasks include maintaining the environmental work in the evening and being available for our children, as well as making observations and simpler documentation. Performing daily routines is part of the role. During the night, two people work: you, who are awake, and one who is on sleeping duty.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing a university education in the field or has a suitable high school education, e.g., in health care or another relevant post-secondary education. We prefer that you have previous experience working with the target group. You are a role model and have the ability to create credible and stable relationships. You are part of the structure that clarifies and accommodates the children's issues and have the ability to create safety and predictability. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is required as travel is part of the job.
